ALUMINIUM COMPOSITE MATERIAL (ACM) is also know by the trademarked names DIBOND, REYNOBOND, ALUPANEL, iBOND, and a few more. Essentially this material consists of a central Polyethylene core with a laminated skin of painted or brushed or textured aluminium skin bonded on either side. It comes in various thicknesses but the most common is 3mm thick. We stock this as standard but can always order thicker.
ACM sheet is used extensively in the sign industry to create router-cut letters, logos and all manner of shapes from simple rectangles and discs to complicated graphic elements. We can cut all of these for your requirements and add various fixings dependent upon the fixing method employed. ACM is used throughout the Construction Industry primarily as Hoarding Boards. These are erected around the perimeter of a construction site as a safety barrier and are often used as promotional hoardings with decorative hoarding designs.
It is the most ideal material to router and gives a nice clean finish to the edges and does not require polishing.
We can produce letters and shapes up to 2400 x 1200 out of the master sheet size of 2440mm x 1220mm and can supply them with stand-off locator fixings or when used as a Plaque we can supply complete with other fixings as mentioned on our Technical Page.
ACM Plaques
ACM sheet can be any shape but are generally rectangular with either a square corner, shouldered or radius corner of any size. Fixing Holes of any diameter can also be produced at the same time as routing the plaque so please ensure that these are included in any artwork you send or ask for these if you want us to produce the artwork file.
ACM accepts Self Adhesive Vinyl Lettering readily and makes an ideal backing plaque to Acrylic Plaques as shown on our Acrylics Page.

Whilst we stock White and Brushed Silver (Also known as Butler Finish) as standard, the following range of colours is always available to order, please ask prior to ordering. Please note - These colours are approximate and to be used as a guide only! Various factors can affect colours such as different monitor displays and reproduction processes. If exact colours are important please ask for a material colour sample.
